Toaster

FKI toasters are available in many variants with different dimensions, functions, roasting surfaces in different materials and designs. There is a choice of options and certainly a model that suits your exact wishes. The toaster models are good for heating bread products such as sausage bread, French hot dog bread, burger buns, sandwiches, Parisian toasts, panini, bagels and similar non-frozen products.

Most of the models are equipped with Teflon-coated fluted pans, which ensure that the bread products do not stick to the pans, and the fluted surfaces give crisp and inviting grill stripes on everything you heat in the toaster. The toasters are compact and therefore ideal for grill bars, hot dog carts and gas stations, where space can often be tight and the machines must therefore be able to be used for heating/cooking several different types of food. An FKI toaster can do that, and it is therefore an indispensable tool.

As you can see above, there are several different models, some of which have a fixed distance between the upper and lower pan, and others have a variable distance. The variable distance is good if you need to use the toaster for several different products that have different sizes/thicknesses. If you need to heat products of approximately the same thickness in the toaster, a toaster with a fixed distance will be good.

We also have a model with ceramic heating surfaces, model TL 5209. It can do the same as the other toasters, and is also only suitable for heating bread products. It has a variable distance between the pans and, unlike the models with grooved pans, does not create grill stripes on the bread, but instead a more uniform toasting of the product.

In collaboration with a customer, we have also made a version of model TL 5270, where the lower pan is smooth, so it is easier to clean. The bread still gets grill stripes on the “upper side” as the upper pan is still ribbed, while the lower pan with Teflon coating ensures uniform toasting/browning of the bread.
The design of the toasters is very simple, both to ensure easy operation and, not least, easy cleaning. The temperature can be regulated from 0 to 250 °C using the thermostat on the front of the toaster (on the upper side for the ceramic toaster).
