FKI HAS BEEN AWARDED THE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY MARK FROM THE MUNICIPALITY OF ASSENS
This year we got Development Assens’ Social Responsibility mark, and that makes us proud. It is a CSR certification scheme, which is given to companies in the municipality of Assens, which exhibit special social responsibility and who take on extra social responsibility by looking after current and future employees.
The conditions for the certification include that 10% of the company’s employees must be employed in internships, wage subsidies, flex jobs or jobs with special conditions. And 10% of company employees must be in adult apprenticeships, regular apprenticeships, or other qualification courses funded by the employment office.
You can also apply for the certification if the company works consciously with the retention of existing employees or works with social responsibility in other ways. For example, by supporting local volunteering or other initiatives that benefit the local community.
At FKI we have apprentices, employees in flex jobs, and we are part of the project “Companies adopt school classes”, where we have a class from the local school associated. We also support initiatives in the local area, such as local magazines run by volunteers, flag-avenue, sponsorships and more.
